Dear Students & Parents/Guardians
We are looking forward to welcoming back our students next week and of course in particular our new First Year Students. Please see return dates and key information below.
Return Dates
Monday 31 August: 1years & 6 yr & LCA2 begin. Busses drop students off at the top of the school where they will be met and welcomed and directed to the Year Head at the stage area. Monday will be a full day for first year students 8.55am-3.50pm. 1yrs Please bring PE Gear for PE on Monday
Tue 1 Sept: 2 year, 3 year, TY and 5 year & LCA1 return . If you are a new student in any year, other than first year, please call to the School Office on arrival and we will direct you from there.
Materials As you are provided with all books and copies please just bring a school bag and pencil case, packed lunch and water.
The school Day: Mon, Tue, Thurs & Friday 8.55am-3.50pm (with Assembly 8.55-9am) Wed 9am-1.15pm
Remain on the school grounds Juniors are not permitted to leave the school grounds during break or lunch.
Phone Pouch- All students will receive a phone pouch, free of charge, when they arrive in order that phones are restricted for the duration of the full school day. Students will place their phones in the pouch every morning at Assembly/at the start of first class on Wednesdays (No Assembly) . See Phone Restriction Policy on the school website. Parents contacting students Should parents/guardians need to contact a student
during the school day, please call into the School Office or phone 066 9473335. Students contacting parents/guardians Should a student need to contact their parent /guardian during the school day they will have access to the phone in the School Office/pouch will be unlocked as needed.
Taster Experience for 1st Years will run from Mon to Thurs. Students will experience the Band and Wellbeing Subjects during this time. Where a student wishes to change a band subject they may be able to do so if there is space in the class. Where there is no capacity the student remains in the band they were allocated.
1yr Parent Access to TYRO- First years Parents/Guardians have received an email to register on TYRO. This will give you access to attendance, & various school reports. Should you have any difficulties please contact the School Office.
