We would like to thank you for your support this year and wish you & our students well for the Summer.
The School Calendar is available on our website (See below )& we look forward to welcoming our students back as follows:
*Please note the School bus service will be running from Monday 25 August 2025
Fri 22 August Autism class & Moderate Class students return 10am-1pm*
Mon 25 August Incoming 1 yrs start school (For the first week students will follow a Taster Timetable, experiencing all the band subjects and wellbeing subjects. Where there is space to do so, students may have an opportunity to change their subject choice at the end of their first week.)
Tue 26 August all students return
Summer Reports are available on VSWare for 1, 2, TY, 5 & LCA1s.
The Skellig Building In August our new building, The Skellig Building, will house the ASD class, Moderate Class and Learning Support classes on the ground floor and The English Department on the first floor. We look forward to welcoming Minister for Education, Helen McEntee on 12 September to officially open our new building.
Free school books From September 2025 we are delighted that all students will avail of the free book scheme.
The School levy for 2025-26 is as follows:
100 Euro per student
80 Euro for any additional sibling.
There is a family cap of 300 Euro
The Levy covers a range of costs that include but not limited to :
Lockers: Providing secure storage for students' belongings
Photocopying: Ensuring all students have access to additional necessary materials
ICT Licences: Each student has access to the Microsoft 365 suite of resources
VSWare Access: Facilitating communication and tracking of student progress
Postage and text communications: Keeping you informed and up to date with student activities
These contributions to the school levy is essential for maintaining the quality and breadth of services we offer to all our students. A Way2Pay text message will issue in August in order to make the above payment via the online payment system for your convenience. Thank you for your ongoing support. Together, we can continue to provide an all round educational experience for our students.

3yr/6yr and LCA2: Books students are asked to return any remaining text books to Room W8 on completion of their exams
Uniform donation: You are also welcome to donate to the school any uniforms you longer require, if you wish to do so.

Materials As students are provided with all books and copies please just bring a school bag and a pencil case, packed lunch and water.
A free water refilling station is available in school.
The school Day Mon, Tue, Thurs & Friday 8.55am-3.50pm (with Assembly 8.55-9am) Wed 9am-1.15pm (School bus service is running from Monday 25 August)
Remain on the school grounds Juniors are not permitted to leave the school building during break or lunch.
Lastly, the Board of Management and the school would like to congratulate our JC, LC & LCA students on the completion of their State Examinations.
